Template ยท Quarterly business review

A QBR that builds itself from the usage export

Most QBR decks start with someone exporting usage data, pasting it into a sheet and rebuilding the same charts by hand. This template takes the weekly export as it comes out of your product analytics and turns it into the review: adoption against licensed seats, engagement trend, what customers actually used, and the support load. Next quarter you swap the file or let the connected sheet refresh, and every number updates.

What it looks like

Built from the sample CSV below. Every chart is stored as code, so it recomputes when the data changes.

The data it expects

One row per period or account with these columns. Names can differ; you map them once and the mapping is reused on every refresh.

Questions

What does the usage export need to look like?
One row per week (or month) with the counts you already track: active users, sessions, key feature actions and support tickets. Column names can differ; you map them once and the template remembers.
How do I reuse it for the next quarter?
Connect the Google Sheet your export lands in, or upload the new file. Every chart is stored as code, so it recomputes on the new rows without rebuilding anything.
Can I send it to the customer?
Yes. Share a read-only link, restrict it to their email addresses, or export a PDF for the deck.
